Tekken 8 Has a Fantastic Reveal Trailer – Watch it Now

Source: Bandai Namco Entertainment

Tekken 8 is in the works, and Bandai Namco seems to be working hard to get everything done until the release date. We don’t know when the game is coming out, but we have some amazing footage instead.

The reveal trailer for Tekken 8 came out today, September 14. It has already gathered an incredible number of views: over 216,000. More than 16,000 viewers ‘liked’ the video as well. Once you watch it for yourself, you will immediately understand:

Tekken 8 will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. While it will be very easy to get the game going as long as you own either one of the current-gen platforms, we can’t say the same for those who prefer gaming on a PC. These latter folks will clearly need some powerful hardware, judging by how things look in the trailer. And we can also take into account the fact that Tekken 8 won’t be available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. This is another strong hint that only very powerful platforms will be able to run the game.

Here’s what Bandai Namco has to say about the upcoming game:

Developed by Bandai Namco Studios, Tekken 8 pushes the envelope for fighting games and takes full advantage of the power of the latest generation of consoles by creating one of the most visually stunning and immersive titles in the genre yet. Tekken 8 picks up after the gruesome battle that ended in Heihachi Mishima’s defeat, focusing on a new rivalry pitting father against son as Jin Kazama stands in defiance against Kazuya Mishima’s quest for world dominance.

Judging by how things look in the trailer, Tekken 8 clearly represents a major improvement compared to the previous Tekken 7 that came out seven years ago.
