The Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie was released recently, and it is only a matter of time until we get to see the new characters and transformations in video games as well. Gamma 2, one of the new androids created by the Red Ribbon Army in order to take down Goku and the gang, is coming to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.
Even though Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is already almost six years old, it’s still getting new content from the dev team. The ‘Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero Pack Set’ is in the works, and it will bring Gamma 2 as a playable character in the game.
Gamma 2 will arrive this fall
At some point this fall, the Gamma 2 android will be joining the roster of fighters in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, along with two other new characters that weren’t announced yet. We’ve seen Gamma 2 fighting Piccolo in the new movie, and it has definitely given our favorite Namekian a run for his money.
There’s even a second pack coming to the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 game, and it’s still anybody’s guess what it shall bring new.
The ‘Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero’ movie brought a new plot, reviving the Red Ribbon Army from the ashes and under the command of a new genius scientist in order to create new powerful androids to destroy Goku. While everyone’s favorite Saiyan won’t be around in this movie to take care of the bad guys, it will be up to Gohan and Piccolo to try to save the day.
If you want to get your hands on Xenoverse 2 for PC, you can do so via Steam by paying 49.99 euros. The game is not a PC-exclusive, however, as you can also get it running on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia.
Video games can indeed exploit a lot more new material after the release of the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie. We also expect to see the new transformations of Gohan and Piccolo, the Gamma 1 android, and of course: Cell Max, the big boss of the movie.
