Those who are into the VR business become more and more numerous, and Sony knows it very well. There’s no wonder why the PSVR 2 has been under development for quite a while, and thanks to the overwhelming powers of the internet, we now have an idea about when the machine is coming out!
IGN reveals that multiple PlayStation social media websites confirm early 2023 as the launch window for PSVR 2. This means that, basically, there shouldn’t be any reason for doubt.

PSVR 2 will certainly not come empty-handed, as 20 games will be available at the gadget’s launch. The list includes titles such as Horizon: Call of the Mountain, Samurai Slaughter House, and more.
Here’s what a statement from the official presentation at CES 2022 says:
Innovation for us with PlayStation also means that we’re going to lead the way with exploring new technology that unlocks new entertainment experiences. Virtual reality is central to that philosophy.
The upcoming headset will be featuring 4K HDR, as well as an expanded field of view. Eye tracking as well as haptic feedback technology will also be present. There will also be new VR controllers, and they are known as the PlayStation VR2 Sense Controllers.
The display is perhaps the most important part when we’re talking about a VR headset, and the upcoming PSVR 2 is a good example that the manufacturer is taking as seriously as possible this technical area. The gadget will have an OLED display mounted on it that reaches a resolution of 2000×2040 pixels. If that’s not impressive enough for you, you should also keep in mind that a refresh rate of up to 120Hz is also present.
You should definitely not expect the PSVR 2 headset to be cheap, but we’ll find out more about the price soon enough! Would you buy Sony’s upcoming gadget?
