This year, on November 18, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will be released. This marks a release date that is nearly three years after the debut of Pokemon Sword and Shield, without expansions. Until now, the Pokemon Company has only released one trailer, back in early June, announcing Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Since then, they’ve been completely quiet. A website for Generation 9 games hasn’t yet been modified since the June video, leaving many fans anxious to learn more about the Pokemon they’ll be able to encounter.
Due to Riddler Khu’s established track record, there have been a number of rumored Pokemon Scarlet and Violet leaks popping up online recently. Khu revealed the beginning type choices for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, as well as what Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly’s evolutions would look like. After months of cryptic clues and indications, Khu also released several Pokemon species from Generation 9 in the months leading up to July.
Khu disclosed today that there would be three Pokemon species, one being likewise a Ghost-type creature and there is a puppy as the basic pocket monster. There are presently no Ghost-type Pokémon that resemble dogs, wolf pups, or any other comparable species. Thus it’s uncertain whether or not these creatures will develop and take on a different appearance. “Regional Fakes” or other evolution lines may be hinted at by further Pokemon Scarlet and Violet leaks, according to Khu.
Among the other indications offered by Khu’s writings of late are references to pseudo-legendary Pokemon, who are somewhat powerful pocket monsters with extremely high stats and special abilities. In the leaker’s opinion, there will be one pseudo-Legendary Pokemon with a past shape and the other with a future form, which may be Tyranitar and Salamence based on their appearances in the June trailer, respectively. Apocalyptic pocket creatures like Pikachu and Charizard may have a past and future incarnations, according to Khu, but this is only theory as this now.
