Rockstar has stated that it will not be delivering any more big upgrades to Red Dead Redemption 2 as it proceeds to concentrate on the production of Grand Theft Auto 6, which is now in production.

According to a new post on the company’s official website, Rockstar is drawing to a close their work on the cowboy game that became a smashing hit.
Over the past few years, we have been steadily moving more development resources towards the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series — understanding more than ever the need to exceed players’ expectations and for this next entry to be the best it can possibly be — and as a result, we are in the process of making some changes to how we support Red Dead Online.
Fans of Rockstar Games’ online spin-off game for Red Dead Redemption, titled Red Dead Online, may at long last rejoice: the developer has an answer for them. Fans of Red Dead Online (RDO) have been given some explanations, but none of them are very pleasant. Rockstar Games has finally responded to player complaints about the current lack of new material that has been affecting its online frontier adventure title, and the developer has indicated an interest in further improving the game without introducing any extra content.
