‘Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero’ is slowly but surely approaching its North American release, so you’d better make sure to cancel any other plans for August 19 if you’re a true Dragon Ball fan! The movie is presenting both Gohan and Piccolo as you’ve never seen them before.
The two warriors will once again fight side by side in their struggle to defeat new powerful androids created by the Red Ribbon Army. Piccolo has been the first trainer of Gohan when the latter was just a 4-year-old child. At that time, the Namekian was eager to exploit Gohan’s huge fighting potential. But Piccolo had no idea that Goku’s son would become one of the strongest fighters in the Universe.
‘Final Gohan’ is born in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero
The new Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie introduces a new transformation for Gohan, making him stronger than ever. The half-blooded Saiyan taps into this form while being enraged by seeing Cell tearing up his good old friend Piccolo. Therefore, ‘Final Gohan’ is born.
Unfortunately, the movie doesn’t offer a clear explanation behind Gohan’s new power boost, but we hope for that to change soon in future Dragon Ball-related releases.
The trailer shows Gohan’s new form in all its beauty:
We have to admit that the new technique of Goku’s son is very similar to his father’s Ultra Instinct form. However, the aura is different, and the color of the eyes is different as well.
In the same trailer, we can also see the new form of Piccolo. Yes, the famous Namekian has also got a massive power boost thanks to the Eternal Dragon. His form has the amusing moniker of Orange Piccolo, but that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t take it seriously!
Akira Toriyama, the writer responsible for most of Dragon Ball, is already implicated in new projects related to the franchise.
