Sniper Elite 5 is just a month old, and it is already receiving a lot of love from both the fans and the developers from Rebellion. The British company just released its 1.06 update for the game TODAY, June 27, and it’s a big one!
We can remember back in the day when the older Sniper Elite titles came out and how the developers had constantly been updating them. Whether we’re talking about Sniper Elite 4, Sniper Elite 3, or Sniper Elite V2, all of these games received some immersive DLCs after their release. The new update for Sniper Elite 5 is not exactly a DLC, but it features plenty of exciting gameplay elements.
Update 1.06 brings lots of fixes to Sniper Elite 5
The new update that’s rolling out for the latest Sniper Elite iteration brings a lot of fixes. For instance, grenade arcs will not disappear unexpectedly anymore, the player can now drop dead bodies on pick-up, game crashes were fixed, and many more. Many bugs that were appearing in most missions were fixed, including even the Target Führer DLC. But the new 1.06 update is far from bringing only fixes to the game.

It took some years for Rebellion to develop Sniper Elite 5. The game is available for PC and the usual consoles: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/Series S. The previous game, Sniper Elite 4, was released back in 2017.
Sniper Elite 5 presents new adventures of the American elite sniper Karl Fairburne as he tries to take down the Nazis once again. For this game, the action takes place in France, while in the previous title, the “playground” was set in Italy.
If you’re willing to run Sniper Elite 5 on a laptop or desktop PC, you must keep in mind that the hardware demands are pretty bulky. In a nutshell, you’ll need at least a graphics card that features 4GB of VRAM.
