You Can’t Complete KOTOR II on Nintendo Switch, Developers Say

Source: Steam

STAR WARS Knights of the Old Republic II – The Sith Lords, abbreviated as KOTOR II, is a pretty old game, being released almost two decades ago after being developed by Obsidian and Aspyr. But still, it has its fair share of fans.

Therefore, it seemed like just a matter of time until KOTOR II would arrive for Nintendo Switch, a platform that has been gaining serious notoriety in recent years despite the fact that it’s only 5 years old. KOTOR II arrived some weeks ago for Nintendo’s handheld console, and it already has caused plenty of fuss among gamers who wanted to play it on the platform.

You can’t complete KOTOR II on Switch, but the developers are trying to fix the issue

According to CNET, there’s a major bug on the Nintendo Switch version of the game that makes it impossible to complete. But there is hope, however, as the developers from Aspyr found out about the issue, and they’re working to provide a fix. Here’s the proof:

KOTOR II sets the story five years after the events that took place in the first game of the series. The Sith Lords have almost made the Jedi extinct, and the Old Republic is now being threatened as well. A lone Jedi becomes the only hope, as he’s biting the bullet to reconnect with the Force, and that’s precisely the character that players will have to control in the game.

Back in the day when Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II was released, the game had some pretty serious hardware demands for its time. You needed at least a system with 4GB of RAM, 10GB of storage space, a graphics card with 256MB of VRAM, and an Intel Core i3 (2 Cores) or AMD A10 processor to run the game.
