Respawn Entertainment has denied rumors of a new Titanfall game numerous times, but a pre-order box for Titanfall three has started the rumors up again.
Respawn Entertainment is one of the most popular game companies of our time. In 2014, they worked with Electronic Arts to make Titanfall, which became a big hit.
The game did well enough that EA quickly gave the go-ahead for a sequel. However, they made the mistake of putting it out a week after Battlefield 1 and a week before Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Even though Titanfall 2 is a great game, Electronic Arts almost killed its financial performance by putting it out at such a bad time.
After EA made such a big mistake, we never heard anything official about Titanfall 3, but Respawn did say more than once that they had no plans to make another game in the series.
What has GameStop to do with Titanfall 3?
A German GameStop store owner thinks that Titanfall three will come out in the fall of 2022.
A fan recently saw a pre-order box art for Titanfall three at a GameStop in Germany. It was next to pre-order box arts for Dragon Age 4, FIFA 23, and The Elder Scrolls 6.
The Reddit user said that he was surprised to see this box art at that local GameStop, since Respawn has almost turned down Titanfall plans in the past. Even more surprising is that the store told him that the game would be released in the fall of 2022.
As of now, Respawn Entertainment has so many projects going on right now. Even if they wanted to add Titanfall 3 to the list, it probably wouldn’t come out for a few years. We don’t think this will happen anytime soon.
