Chris states in a tweet that GTA 6’s new graphics engine, Rage 9, will probably be great. He continues by saying that he has had a lot of great feedback on it, and it looks promising.
Chris notes that we’re looking at an engine that will be advanced, which is noteworthy. This means that GTA 6’s graphics might be better than any other game in this generation, which would be quite an achievement for the game. However, given Rockstar’s track record, this isn’t exactly surprising. Rockstar is recognized for achievements like this, when it works hard and sets new standards in the game industry.
When GTA 5 was first released, it was undoubtedly one of the nicest games on any platform. In fact, over a decade after its debut, GTA 5 still looks better than other current open-world games.
