Many GTA Online users have had some problems with character migrations to PC. This issue has been brought to Rockstar Support’s attention, and they have said that they are trying to resolve it.
Players were offered the chance to transfer their PS4, or Xbox One characters to the PS5 or Xbox Series X|S before GTA Online’s latest release. Although it was supposed to be a one-time migration, numerous gamers were unable to take advantage of it.
We don’t know exactly when this issue will be fixed. Rockstar Games is aware of the problem and is working to fix it. Many gamers had to deal with this problem, and they were not happy.
Gamers are disappointed with the way GTA Online handles character transfers on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
At the beginning of his video, a user discusses a few issues. Even after transferring their progress to the PS4 or Xbox One, players may maintain their previous PS3 or Xbox 360 accounts. The fact that this is no longer allowed has naturally upset several gamers, who will now have their previous accounts permanently deleted.
He then goes on to discuss the PC situation and how some gamers may have transferred their progress a really long time ago. Players were already aware that their GTA Online progress could not be transferred to the PS5 or Xbox Series X|S.
However, the inability to transfer PS4 or Xbox One game progress to next-gen consoles due to an old PC migration was unexpected. For these GTA Online users, the only option is to start a new game, which would require them to lose years of progress.
