What’s the first thing that pops into the mind when you say ‘Nintendo’? Obviously, we all have to admit that it can be only one name: Super Mario. The Italian plumber with the mustache who’s in love with mushrooms celebrated his birthday yesterday, March 10.
The event marked the 41st anniversary of Super Mario. The funny character surely doesn’t look like he’s 41 years old, but it doesn’t matter anymore. Under these circumstances, there’s no wonder why Super Nintendo World is coming to the US. Therefore, Universal Studio Holywood is getting Super Nintendo World.

Speaking of Super Mario, the legendary plumber appeared in more than 200 games, and we have all the reasons to believe that he won’t stop there. Back in the ’80s, Mario appeared for the first time on a Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), a console-based on just 8-bits.
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is the name of the last known Mario game, and it was released last year in February for Nintendo Switch users. Here’s how Nintendo itself describes the game:
Pounce and climb through dozens of colorful courses! Multiply the fun by teaming up with or competing against friends locally** or online*** to reach each stage’s goal. Work together to explore and uncover collectibles, or compete for the crown by earning the highest score, making for a friendly frenzy! Over the years, pretty much all consoles offered support for specific Mario games. It seems to be only a matter of time until we’ll see the character on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X as well.
