With the latest pricing of GTA 5 Enhanced Edition on PS5 against Xbox Series X, it appears that the exclusivity war between Xbox and PlayStation is at an all-time high with the new generation of consoles.

Both Sony and Microsoft have been looking forward to extending their gaming branches since the launch of the 9th-generation of consoles. We’ve all seen how they signed huge exclusive deals with numerous developers and publishers.

Microsoft is attempting to acquire various large publishers, and Sony is negotiating exclusivity deals in order to boost its hardware sales.

In the meantime, gamers who can’t purchase both platforms are missing out on a lot of great stuff.

The latest war between Sony and Microsoft has brought us the release of Grand Theft Auto 5 Enhanced Edition for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with PlayStation owners receiving greater discounts than Xbox owners.

So what’s the real difference in pricing?

Rockstar hasn’t yet confirmed the official pricing for Grand Theft Auto 5 Enhanced Edition, but pre-orders are now open, and the whole GTA 5 bundle costs $39.99 on both the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

They are also currently offering a limited-time discount on both platforms. Although PS5 owners may acquire the whole bundle for $9.99, Xbox Series X|S owners must spend $19.99, meaning PlayStation owners receive a better deal.

Xbox players have previously said that they are not happy with Rockstar’s pricing deals for GTA 5 Enhanced Edition. Xbox enthusiasts, on the other hand, appear to be more concerned about GTA 6. If Sony enters an exclusivity agreement with Rockstar Games for their future Grand Theft Auto game, Xbox gamers will be affected, and they won’t be happy.

As of now, we are waiting to hear more on this matter.
