GTA 5 will get a long-awaited update on March 15 from Rockstar that will make the game more suitable for the new-gen consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X. The legendary Grand Theft Auto title will be improved with new graphics that will take full advantage of the advanced technology present on the new consoles.
But graphics is not the only area where Rockstar will bring improvements along with the upcoming update. This move cannot surprise anyone, however, considering that GTA 5 still remains insanely popular even today.
GTA 5 and GTA Online will get new features
IGN.com writes about the new features that will arrive for the new enhanced version of both GTA 5 and GTA Online. We’re talking about the same game, obviously.
Rockstar itself wrote about the new features, and we’ll be exposing some of them briefly. First of all, there are three new settings when it comes to the graphics area. You’ll have to choose Fidelity Mode if you want to benefit from the highest visual settings possible.
The DualSense controller of the PlayStation 5 console will also be exploited by GTA 5 for its Haptics.
Faster loading times will be included thanks to the SSDs.
GTA Online will be featuring some new vehicles to grab and use to run away from the police and thugs. Players can also benefit from Hao’s Special Works for vehicle upgrades, new Races for modded vehicles, and more.
Rockstar has a pretty neat description for the trailer:
Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online will now arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S March 2022, featuring a range of technical and graphical improvements across the entire experience including performance enhancements for select vehicles in GTA Online, and so much more.
