Does anybody think that Google is done creating smartphones? Surely you would be tempted to say so considering that some flagships from the Pixel series weren’t too well received by the public. Well, think again, as the Mountain View-based tech giant is up to new and exciting projects.
According to Forbes.com, Google accidentally leaked info regarding other phones from the Pixel series. As you might have already expected, the two gadgets in question are Google’s upcoming Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro phones. 9to5Google spotted the leaks, and some exciting upgrades are revealed, although much more information is needed.
Watch out for ‘Cheetah’ and ‘Panther’
Android 13 reveals that the codenames behind the development of Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will be ‘Cheetah’ and ‘Panther’.
As for the hardware that will be present on the devices, it seems that both of them will be featuring a GS201 processor. This means that the upcoming Pixels will have superior processing speeds compared to what exists on the predecessor Pixel 6 series that was released last year in October.
Although that’s pretty much all the information we have at the moment regarding Google’s upcoming flagships, it’s enough to take a look at what Pixel 6 has to offer to understand that its successor can’t be anywhere lower.
As GSMArena.com reveals, the standard Pixel 6 phone has shown some very powerful specs. We can easily consider the RAM, processor, and camera to be the main highlights. There’s also the IP68 water resistance for those who like to use their phone in the rain.
Surely not having enough battery power is one of the major issues of smartphones nowadays. Carrying your charger around each time you leave the house is certainly not very pleasing. Therefore, the standard Pixel 6 features a battery of 4,614mAh.
