Bridgeton will soon be back with a second season. We have all been waiting for it for a very long time, and it will be here sooner than expected. We are here to tell you everything you need to know about it.
The cast members have shared insight about the series, and now we know a little bit more about the plot.
It seems that there will be two sisters called Edwina Sharma and Kate Sharma. They came from Bombay, and Anthony might want to learn more about them…romantically. He will think of Edwina as his perfect match. But he might end up falling for Kate, instead. Will this be a love triangle? Jonathan Bailey, who plays Anthony, said that the situation would be dangerous since the two love interests are also sisters. They will both fall for the same boy, and he will have to choose one of them, which can get nasty quickly.
He continued to say that both Edwina and Kate are in love, and Anthony likes both of them – one is the Head, and the other one is the Heart. He added that all of the characters would face troubles in such a rigid society.
So we know that the plot will be about Anthony and the two sisters. The first season, the one with Simon and Daphne, premiered on the 25th of December, 2020, and it received positive reviews and many award nominations. The second one was announced in January 2021.
