Marc Webb directed both films in The Amazing Spider-Man trilogy starring Andrew Garfield & Emma Stone. Gwen Stacy, the primary female part in the second sequel, dies towards the conclusion of the film, which is regarded as one of the franchise’s most intense scenes. While the Green Goblin tosses Gwen (Stone) from the height of a tower, Peter tried his hardest to rescue her. Unfortunately, Peter is late, and Gwen passes away before she reaches the ground.
When we look at how The Amazing Spider-Man 2 ended, we can see that there were several ways Peter might have dealt with the repercussions of Gwen Stacy’s demise after battling with the villain, Green Goblin. While we don’t know what Peter would’ve encountered in the third installment of the series, we do know that there’d be a real villain from the Sinister Six gang, as hinted at at the conclusion of the film. Despite the fact that we have seen several side tales and two movies about the spider hero, there was nothing like The Amazing Spider-Man 3. On the other hand, in light of the negative reviews from reviewers to The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Sony partnered with Marvel Studios, and Spider-Man joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The incarnation of Spider-Man starring Tom Holland was well-received. However, with rumors of a third installment of the TASM series, we naturally begin to speculate about what it might be like if Gwen Stacy were to return in any capacity.
While Andrew Garfield was never given the opportunity to reprise his part in The Amazing Spider-Man 3, speculations of him starring in a standalone appearance are becoming louder by the day. After seeing Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield return to action with Tom Holland and face four of the biggest villains, fans have gained fresh hope. As a consequence, thousands of votes have been cast in favor of a third episode of the TASM series. Sony hasn’t announced much yet, but if that occurs, we may get to see Garfield and his ex-girlfriend Emma Stone together once more.
