Elden Ring will definitely soon be here – sooner than expected. The game was initially supposed to be released on the 21st of January, 2022. However, it was then delayed. But it is safe to say that after three years of waiting, the release date is finally here.
At the Taipei Game Show 2022, FromSoftware has confirmed that Elden Ring is ready to be released to the public, and that they even have a master version that’s been submitted for approval.
We know, the title has been delayed for about a month, but producers assured us that the game would be on sale at the end of the next month. FromSoftware also stated that all of the requests from the Closed Network Test were taken into account, as they kept working on a patch since day one.
As of now, we don’t really have any specific details about the patch or about the Closed Network Test. Producers have also revealed that you can complete the game in about 30 hours: “the game as a whole is quite massive and contains many dozens more hours worth of gameplay, but if we are talking about the main route only, it shouldn’t take much longer than that.”
So when is the release date?
Elden Ring will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and it will be released on the 25th of February, 2022.
Elden Ring is an action role-playing game that was developed by From Software and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game’s director is Hidetaka Miyazaki, and he worked with George R. R. Martin, who wrote for the game’s setting.
