If you order free COVID-19 tests, they will get to your mailbox as soon as possible. And now, you can also get free N95 masks from US pharmacies.
The Biden administration wants everyone to have access to high-quality masks while Omicron is spreading a lot faster and easier. The free tests were shipped out last week, and they are also part of Biden’s plan to increase access to testing tools.
Masks will appear at Hy-Vee and Meijer grocery stores in the Midwest, and will later appear at Southeastern Grocers stores, as well.
The administration has announced that 400 million N95 masks will be shared with pharmacies and community health centers, and the program will fully start to work in February. The masks will come with flyers and signage from the Department of Health and Human Services – they paid for the masks.

The flyers say, “Mask up and maximize your protection.” They are written in both English and Spanish, and up to three free masks are available to “every person in the US.” The flyer also has instructions on how to properly put on and take off masks.
On Friday, the masks will arrive at Hy-Vee and Meijer stores, and also at Southeastern Grocers, Fresco y Más, Harveys Supermarket and Winn-Dixie in-store pharmacies.
Christina Gayman, from Hy-Vee, stated: “We have received many positive comments from customers who are happy we have the masks and are distributing them so quickly. We still have masks available at all locations that have received them so far.”
All of the masks are free for everyone who needs them. They come in varying sizes, as well.
