God of War has been released for PC, but it’s not all milk and honey.
The game was released back in 2018, and it managed to catch everyone’s attention, being a PlayStation exclusive. The story is about Kratos, and his son Atreus, who goes on a journey to make Faye’s last wishes come true. The game has left enough info for the sequel, God of War Ragnarok, which is bound to be released for PlayStation anytime this year. And seeing its success, God of War was also released for PC yesterday. There are plenty of features that come with the PC port, like better graphics, a widescreen support, and visual fidelity.
Sony’s last PC port was not that good, as you probably remember. The peak number of players was 49,411. Horizon Zero Dawn had 56,557 players. But Days Gone only had 27,450 on its launch day.
God of War peaked at 49,411 players today on Steam. The second highest yet for a PlayStation Studios game
At least for today Horizon Zero Dawn gets to keep its record as the biggest for PlayStation on PC

Horizon Zero Dawn scored better than God of War, which failed to get a higher number of players despite the publicity; we should tell you that out of those two, God of War got positive reviews, in comparison to the other one. The performance on Horizon Zero Dawn is concerning. Of course, both of the games are amazing, but Horizon Zero Dawn‘s PC version was a mess. God of War presented better performance, and the gameplay was smooth – can’t say the same about Horizon Zero Dawn.
God of War is an action-adventure game series that was created by David Jaffe. The series was first released back in 2005 on the PlayStation 2 console, and ever since then, it has become a flagship for Sony’s brand. There are eight games in total, and a ninth is currently under development.
