We finally have an update for Wonder Woman 3
The update comes from Gal Gadot, and she said that filming will start in 2023. The script is currently under development, and this means that we will have to wait a bit for more details.
The director of Wonder Woman 2, Patty Jenkins, will be back for the third movie, as well. Wonder Woman 3 was announced during the last DC Fandome, but we haven’t heard from it since then.
Lynda Carter will also be reprising her role as Asteria in the third movie. Patty Jenkins stated: “We are super excited about Wonder Woman 3…We are all three very excited about some things coming up in Wonder Woman 3.”
Of course, everyone is wondering whether Barabara Ann Minerva will be reprising her role as Cheetah. The plot details are kept secret, but Gal Gadot told us that her character would have a nice progress: “I would not go, like, to the ’60s or to the ’40s with Wonder Woman…I feel like the past has been handled well, and now it’s time to move on.”
Does this mean that we’re seeing the world after Justice League? Will the heroes defeat Steppenwolf? We cannot wait for the worldwide premiere of the third movie from the series.
It seems that we’re also getting a new Flash movie, Aquaman 2 and Black Adam. We will update you as soon as we have more info on this matter.
Wonder Woman was first released in 2017, and it is based on the DC Comics characters. Gal Gadot starred with Robin Wright, Chris Pine, David Thewlis, Elena Anaya, Danny Huston and Connie Nielsen. The next in line was Wonder Woman 1984, which was released in 2020.
