If there’s one thing everybody loves about smartphones, it’s their ability to take photos. Surely not everybody is an Instagram supermodel, but even so, anyone likes to take photos from time to time. Therefore, we can only expect that smartphone manufacturers will insist more and more on the little gadgets’ cameras in the near future.
Xiaomi 12 Pro is solid proof, for that matter. The Chinese firm that became famous for bringing powerful phones on the market at lower prices than expected has released the Xiaomi 12 Pro model on the last day of 2021. And we must say right from the start that above all, it packs an out-of-this-world camera setup.
Thanks to GSMArena.com we have the specs for Xiaomi’s new 12 Pro model, and it’s simply a powerhouse.
Triple 50MP camera
The Xiaomi Pro 12 model packs a triple camera setup of three lenses that are capable of 50MP each. If that doesn’t leave you speechless on a smartphone, we don’t know what will. The camera types are wide, telephoto, and ultrawide, respectively. You will also find functions like 2x optical zoom, PDAF, Dual-LED dual-tone flash, HDR, and panorama.
The video recording capabilities have also not been left behind by the guys from Xiaomi. Their new phone packs a maximum of 8K video recording at 24fps. There’s also a selfie camera mounted on the Pro 12, of course, and it’s capable of 32MP.
The display of Xiaomi Pro 12 is also very interesting: it’s of LTPO AMOLED type, 120Hz for its refresh rate, it packs Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and more. For its height of 6.73 inches, the display is easily bigger than what most smartphones have.
The processor is a Snapdragon 8 Gen1, and it will surely make a good team along with the 8 to 12 GB of RAM.
The battery is also pretty generous for its 4,600mAh, meaning that you won’t have to use the charger for a full day if you’re not making the phone undergo heavy tasks.
