Chinese gamers claim that their access to Steam has been blocked
According to The Gamer, gamers from China no longer have access to Steam. It’s still unknown if the event is a result of a DNS attack or a deliberate ban. The gaming service has been no longer available since Christmas.
In recent months, the Chinese government hasn’t been very friendly towards video games. Children from the Asian country are limited to three hours of gaming every week, Fortnite isn’t available anymore, and so on.
Otherwise, you certainly can’t get bored on Steam, that’s for sure. The service has a wide collection of games to offer. Back in 2019, Steam had in its repository more than 34,000 games with more than 95 million users that are active every month.
