Idris Elba
According to the newest speculations, Disney is in the midst of selecting somebody to star in the Black Panther films, and that person is none other than Idris Elba. It’s still unclear why he’s being employed and for what capacity he’ll be considered. Some think that Disney will ultimately fire Letitia Wright and begin filming with Idris Elba as Black Panther or at least make changes to the film that will fit Elba for the part.
Idris Elba, however, has previously been featured in Marvel films as Heimdal from Thor, who can see everything and was the one who opened a doorway to Asgard.
Furthermore, Idris Elba has been upset with Marvel Studios for ending his involvement in the film too early. Bringing somebody back into the franchise is a difficult task which only Marvel can do if they give a serious decent part.
Letitia Wright
After Letitia Wright was hurt while filiming of Black Panther 2 while performing certain stunts for the movie, Marvel revealed that the movie’s launch date will be pushed back from July 6, 2022 to December 11, 2022.
Several reports have previously reported that Letitia Wright will portray the Black Panther in the sequel to the Black Panther film trilogy. However, because of the injury, Letitia Wright is spending her time off to recover at home in London. Because of Coivid-19’s and Letitia Wright’s injuries, Marvel has forced back the launch dates of the stage 4 films that were supposed to come out in 2022.
Marvel is known for following instructions when it comes to releasing films, and Black Panther has been postponed already, once due to the Covid-19 outbreak and again due to Letitia Wright’s injuries. The studio said in November that shooting on Black Panther 2 will be halted owing to Letitia Wright’s injury.
