Fortnite is always full of surprises, and the new update will soon be here. The 19.00 update has a lot planned for us. We get new cosmetics and weapons, and we cannot wait to try them all.
It is safe to say that this is the last major update before Chapter 3, Season 1 starts in December.

So when is the release date?
The 19.00 update will be here on the 7th of December, 2021, on Tuesday. It will be released in the 4 am EST, and 9 am BST timeframe.
What’s its size?
According to the platform, the update will have a different size:
- PC – 2.7 GB
- PS5 – 2.6GB
- PS4 – 4.10GB
- Xbox Series X and S – 3.5GB
- Xbox One – 2.9GB
- Android – 3.0 GB
Keep in mind, this is a new Island for Chapter 3, so it is expected to be larger.

As of now, there are no details on the possible patch notes.
What do we know about the map?
We know for sure that Chapter 3 has a new Island – and it is all for you to explore. It will come with a Mad Max-style desert wasteland. Some rumors said it would actually be a dark medieval setting, that will be filled with magic. We cannot do anything now but wait and see.
About skins
The Matrix and Spider-Man skins will make their appearance early in Chapter 3. However, we don’t know if they will come in this update, or in future ones. Also, there’s a chance that Spider-Man will be a Battle Pass skin, but Trinity and Neo will surely be here towards the end of December.
