Diablo 2 Resurrected is bound to change our opinion about the classic game. We’re not only going to deal with demonic hordes, defeat Diablo and save the human race. It’s going to be more than that with Diablo 2 Resurrected Ladder Season 1.
The Ladder is a closed realm Multiplayer mode in Diablo II. Before playing, you need to rank up on the Ladder, create a new character only for that, and you won’t be able to receive help or even interact with other characters that are not from the Ladder.
This is because the Ladder added different content which cannot be accessed in other ways. For example, the Pandemonium event, in which players can get the Hellfire Torch and fight powerful versions of the old enemies.
As of now, we don’t exactly have details on Season 1. But we do have an official statement from the Blizzard forums, saying that “We wanted to take this opportunity to share that Ladder Only Rune Words, Unique Items, and Horadric Cube Recipes that were once restricted to Ladder rank play will now for the first time be included in non-ladder multiplayer and single-player play. Furthermore, single-player will now also include access to the Pandemonium Event and Uber Diablo content.”
Do we have a release date?
The game was released on the 23rd of September, 2021, and we believe that the Ladder will be released by the end of the year. We might get some pieces of news by the end of this month – if we’re lucky enough. It would be nice to see more of what the creators have in mind before actually getting the Ladder.
