Russian Doll premiered on Netflix, and it is safe to say it was a great success. It received positive reviews from both the critics and the audience. The show was nominated for a lot of awards.

What was the first season about?
In the first season, we meet Nadia, a game developer that’s really good at her job. The action takes place in New York. It all starts at Nadia’s surprise birthday party, which was organized by her best friend. But then something weird happens, and she dies, and then she comes back, only to die again. Every time she comes back to life, she is on the bathroom floor of the place she celebrated her birthday. She finds herself stuck in this loop, and she needs to find out why it all happens this way.
Will there be a season 2?
Filming for Season 2 started back in 2019. But with the pandemic happening, we didn’t really hear much. We don’t really know if they even finished filming it. But we think we’re going to get Season 2 in the next couple of years. According to an official source, the season will be released around next year.
