Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8: Level up Fast and Easy

Source: epicgames.com

Fortnite Season 8 Battle Pass has managed to surprise us. It comes with original skins, which look very nice. But while all seems to be milk and honey, we do have some problems: leveling up may be quite challenging at times. But don’t worry, we’re here to help you on this one.

First things first

To level up, you need XP, which you get based on how well you do in matches. You can also get XP from Punch Cards.

Here’s how to earn XP easier and faster:

Daily Punch Card Quests

Always take a look at the daily and weekly Punch Card quests, they are a very easy way to get XP. You can get up to 45,000 XP.

Get creative

If you spend some time playing creative, you will get some EXP.

Kill basically everybody

If you kill players, you get EXP. A lot of it:

  • 1 kill = 50 EXP
  • 2 kills = 20 EXP
  • 3 kills = 40 EXP
  • 4 kills = 60 EXP
  • 5 kills = 80 EXP
  • 6 kills = 100 EXP

And keep in mind that after the first kill, you receive 20 EXP in addition to every kill. If you have your friends with you, you can receive extra XP for working together.

  • Knockdown = 25 EXP
  • Shakedown = 100 EXP

Achievements

There are many hidden achievements in Fortnite. They appear on your screen after you complete them. They refresh constantly, and they are an endless resource of XP.

Make sure you’re always on top

The higher you are in the game, the more EXP you get. The one in the 1st place gets 300 EXP, the 2nd place gets 200 EXP, from 3rd to 10th gets 100 EXP, and from 11th to 20th gets 25 EXP.

But keep in mind that you need to be at least the 20th on the list to get the additional EXP.

Foraging has never been easier

This is so easy, yet so many players forget about it. Foraging vegetables will get you EXP – 25, to be exact. You can also get XP by collecting fishing (80 EXP) and catching fireflies (25 EXP).

The mini-game

Fortnite has added a mini-game called The Sideways. In this game, you enter a different dimension, and you need to kill monsters. Killing them will get you XP.

Open pretty much everything

Chests, produce boxes, ammo crates, they all come with EXP.

  • Produce Box – 65 EXP
  • Fishing Pole Barrel – 65 EXP
  • Ammo Box – 100 EXP
  • Chest – 130 EXP
  • Supply Drop – 135 EXP
  • Llama – 735 EXP

All you need to do is to survive

The longer you survive, the more EXP you get. Try to survive at least 19 minutes to get the most EXP:

  • 2:02 minutes – 17 EXP
  • 5:06 minutes – 51 EXP
  • 6:04 minutes – 85 EXP
  • 9:23 minutes – 136 EXP
  • 12:33 minutes – 187 EXP
  • 18:10 minutes – 238 EXP

The Horde rush mode

This one can get you a lot of EXP if you get the job done:

  • Eliminate Enemies – 1500 EXP
  • Get headshots on enemies – 300 EXP
  • Eliminate poison or exploding enemies from at least 5m away – 25 EXP
  • Collect score multipliers – 6 EXP
  • Eliminate ranged enemies – 250 EXP
  • Deal pickaxe damage to enemy spawners – 3000 EXP
  • Deal damage to enemies – 100000 EXP

Lately, Epic has made some other changes that can get you XP in no time. For example, they have implemented a buff that allows you to get more XP if you complete Repeatable Quests.

  • For a common challenge: 500 turns into 2500
  • For an uncommon challenge: 525 turns into 2650
  • For a rare challenge, 550 turns into 2750
  • For an epic challenge, 575 turns into 2900
  • For a legendary challenge, 750 turns into 3750.
