Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack will be released this week, and there are plenty of benefits for us if we’re signing up for the monthly membership service. Now we are just waiting to see when exactly we are getting it. We are exciting, especially since we’ll take a walk down memory lane.
The brand new subscription service from Nintendo was one of the good news from the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct, which premiered on the 15th of October. Now, we’re all eager to see the classic N64 or SEGA Mega Drive games.

So what is the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack?
This is a subscription service that is available for Nintendo Switch owners. And there are plenty of benefits, besides the standard ones that come with the normal Nintendo Switch Online membership.
The new Expansion Pack allows you to play the classic Nintendo 64 titles, such as Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart 64. There will be nine classic N64 titles for you to play, and they plan on adding more. It will also come with SEGA Mega Drive games and the paid Animal Crossing: New Horizons DLC, Happy Home Paradise. For this one, you will need the base game of Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
So when is the release date?
The release date depends on your region. It will be released on the 25th in the US and on the 26th in the rest of the countries.
How much will it cost?
Its price is $49.99 USD / £39.99 GBP for a 12-month membership. There’s a 7-day free trial available for your console.
