This Weeks Boxing action (21, 22, 23 of July)

This week’s boxing action has one major card from Las Vegas, Nevada in a huge unification bout for the light welterweight titles between Viktor Postol and Terrence Crawford.

But firstly on Thursday (21) evening the main highlight is from Foxwoods Resort, Mashantucket, Connecticut, USA. The show is promoted by Lou Di Bella and is available to watch on ESPN in the states and is also live on BT sport 1 in the UK. The card is headlined by Middleweight Sergiy Derevyanchenko facing a huge step up in calibre of opponent when he faces former world middleweight champion in Sam Soliman.

At the same venue the following day (22 July) Foxwoods Resort, Mashantucket, Connecticut, USA there is card headlined by super bantamweight Adam Lopez facing Roman Ruben Reynoso for the WBA Fedelatin super bantamweight title. Also featuring on the card are Julius Jackson and Ian Green. The card is set to be broadcast on the Showtime network.

Saturday (23) see’s the highlight of the weekend which is the huge unification clash between Viktor Postol & Terence Crawford. Viktor’s WBC and Terrence’s WBO world light welterweight titles are up for grabs which is set to be a thriller. Also featuring on the card is the talented Oscar Valdez making his maiden tilt at a world title when he faces Matias Carlos Adrian Rueda for the Vacant WBO World featherweight title. The title was previously held by Vasyl Lomachenko who moved up to super featherweight and claimed the WBO world title on his debut in the weight class. Another fight on the card which will be entertaining is Jose Benavidez facing Francisco Santana a fight which takes place in the welterweight division. The Card is to be shown live on HBO PPV in the states and Boxnation live in the UK.
