In a surprising turn of events at today’s weigh-in Paul Butler failed to make the Super-Flyweight limit by 1lb and 12 oz . Immediately after today’s weigh in Paul took to social media to announce his return at Bantamweight. Paul was a former world champion at Bantamweight where he defeated Stuart Hall in 2014 to claim the IBF world title. He won the belt and then vacated and moved back down to Super-flyweight where he failed to capture a world title against Zolani Tete. I’m sure Frank Warren will have a route for Paul as he is a very talented fighter and will be a great permanent addition to the bantamweight ranks.

Tomorrows Fight for Paul still goes ahead as Scheduled and can be seen live on Boxnation.
