The mystery of when WBA Regular middleweight champion returns is finally over .
Jacobs is set to defend his title on on Sept 9 in a rematch with Sergio Mora. the 31-1 Jacobs, who defended his “regular” WBA title against Sergio Mora in August 2015, and then against Peter Quillin, will put his belt up on SPIKE, on a PBC presentation in Reading, Pennsylvania, USA.
The rematch has been rumoured for a while with Mora as the first fight was curtailed early due to an Injury which Mora had suffered in the second round with a right ankle fracture.
Danny Jacobs will be looking to put the record straight and prove to fans it wasn’t just a fluke and would have beaten Mora regardless. The seek to progress onto bigger names such as Billy Joe Saunders and Gennady Golovkin who are the current belt holders in the middleweight division.
