AIBA pro qualifying day 3 results

Morning session

The Mornings first bout was a light flyweight contest (46-49kg) between Argentinian Leandro Blanc and 2012 Olympian Carlos Suarez of Trinidad and Tobago. The result went in favour of Blanc with a complete shutout on the score cards winning very wide and comfortably. The Argentinian will now face Ecuador’s Carlos Quipo in the last four.  The action soon turned to the Middleweight class (75kg) with victory’s for:

Turkey’s Onder Sipal defeats Francisco Alexis Conception Abreu of Spain via points

Venezuela’s Endry Saavedra defeated Bulgarian Arman Hakobyan via points

Xhek Paskali of Germany outpointed Bogdan Juratoni of Romania

The final weight class in action for the morning session came from the super heavyweight class (91kg+)

Venezuelan Edgar Ramon Munoz defeated Egypt’s Ahmed Samir Abdelmoaz Hefny via points

Cosme Dos Santos Nascimento of Brazil defeats Hungarian Istvan Bernath with a tight point’s victory

Ukrainian Rostyslav Arkhypenko defeats Magomed Omarov of Russia via unanimous point’s victory.

MU Haipeng of China defeats Algerian Newfel Ouatah via points

Afternoon Session

The first class in action for the afternoon session was the light flyweights (46-49kg)

2012 Olympian Jonghun Shin of South Korea defeated Nazar Kurotchyn of the Ukraine via points

Joselito Velasquez of Mexico defeated Angelino Rafael Martinez of Venezuela via points

Next up was the bantamweight class (56kg)

Benson Gicharu Njangiru of Kenya Defeated Italy’s Riccardo D’Andrea via points

Ibrahim Gokcex of Turkey defeated Sangmyeong Ham of South Korea via points

Hector Luis Mora of Dominica defeated Edgardo Oscar Varela of Peurto Rico via points

The final weight class in action was the light heavyweight section (81kg)

Jerzy Mateusz Tryc of Poland defeated Ladislav Kutil of the Czech Republic via Points

Juan Carlos Palacio of Columbia defeated Moldovan Petru Ciobanu via points

Mexican Rogelio Romero defeated Denys Solonenko of the Ukraine via points

The Final bout was between well-known professional fighter Hassan N’dam of the Cameroon who faced American Jonathan Esquivel. Hassan N’Dam barely scraped through with all 3 score cards in favour of N’Dam with scores 0f 29-28 in the Cameroonians favour.
